Woody Allen portrait illustration by İlker Ortaç.
This original mixed-media portrait approaches Woody Allen as a recognizable figure in twentieth-century cinema through exposed lines, compressed features and restrained colour. Rather than creating a polished promotional likeness, I focus on nervous gesture, intellectual persona and the visual tension produced by deliberate distortion. The image belongs to a broader series examining how filmmakers, musicians, writers and other public figures become cultural symbols through their faces. Created in Istanbul, the drawing reflects my continuing interest in grotesque portraiture and underground visual language. Original Woody Allen portrait illustration by İlker Ortaç, an Istanbul-based writer, illustrator and visual artist.
