This original Thom Yorke portrait illustration approaches the Radiohead singer through tension, fragmentation and exposed drawing marks rather than a polished promotional likeness. Yorke’s public image has always moved between vulnerability, distance and restless experimentation; I wanted the portrait to hold that unstable balance. The face is built with layered colour, broken contours and a deliberately rough mixed-media surface, allowing the image to feel closer to underground poster art than music-industry photography. The work belongs to my ongoing series of musicians and cultural figures interpreted through grotesque, expressive portraiture. Made in Istanbul, it connects alternative rock imagery with my wider interest in fractured identity, the performing body and the marks left visible by hand. Thom Yorke remains recognizable, but the drawing resists fixing him into a single mood or icon.
