Metallica’s music has long connected speed, weight and collective tension with an unmistakable visual identity. In this original mixed-media portrait, I translate that force into distorted faces, exposed drawing marks and layered colour rather than a polished promotional likeness. The composition focuses on the unstable energy of the band as a single cultural image, balancing aggression with vulnerability and rhythm with fragmentation. Created in Istanbul, the work belongs to my ongoing series of musicians, filmmakers, writers and thinkers interpreted through a grotesque and underground visual language.
